Nilfgaard Update Patch Livestream: February 1st, 2017

We’re finally going to get a look at the Nilfgaard faction. Along with this we’ll be finding out what’s going to be updated in the next patch. There was a bit of controversy over the last livestream, because a lot of people were under the impression that Nilfgaard was going to be revealed. It turned out that it was more of a stream to feature some Gwent content creators. We did, however, learn what the Nilfgaard faction ability is going to be:

KingBlackToof also revealed what one of the leader’s of Nilfgaard will be:

Emhyr Var Emreis – Reveal 2 cards in your opponent’s Hand.

Here’s the official live stream information:

Join us live February 1st, at 12PM PST (9pm CET) on the CD PROJEKT RED Twitch channel to check out some of the changes that will be implemented with the Nilfgaard Update.

We’ll go over the patch notes, talk about the new cards, and build a brand new Nilfgaard deck!

Be sure to follow our official Twitch channel, where we will be streaming the game:

Paweł Burza
Michał ‘Luigi’ Dobrowolski

Note: The stream will be in English

See you there!

I can’t wait to put my hands on this! Faction ability looks amazing and well balanced, probably one of my favourite ones. Unfortunately, unlike the faction ability, Emhyr looks terribly underpowered. I hope there is something more behind this (for example, you can choose what kind of cards you would like to reveal, or something like that – it is still bad when compared to other leader’s abilities…)
Aaand… we have two more leaders to come. I guess they could be Anna Henrietta and Morvran Vorhis, eventualy Menno Coehorn (however, I think the last one will be a golden card instead).
